Cadet Program Affiliation: Sergeant, Royal Canadian Army Cadets
Cadet Sergeant Theo Saul joined 2947 12 (Vancouver) Service Battalion Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps of Richmond, BC in September 2006. During his career, he has held several positions including Section Commander, Flag Party Commander and Drill Team member. For Summer Training, he attended the Basic Military Band course at Vernon Army Cadet Summer Training Centre (VACSTC) in 2007 and Cadet Leader Instructor Drill & Ceremonial in 2008. Theo passed the National Star Certification Exam in February 2009 and went on the Spring Leadership course at VACSTC during Spring Break 2009. During the summer of 2009, he was employed as a Staff Cadet in VACSTC's Delta Company, the General Training company, as a Sergeant. He intends to return to Vernon to staff as a Cadet Warrant Officer for the summer of 2010.
During his career, Theo has received several awards including: Most Improved Recruit in 2007, Top in Platoon in 2007 in Vernon, Top Red Star in 2008 and Most Proficient Junior NCO in 2009. He was awarded the appointment of Master Cadet in November 2009. Additionally, he was named an Army Cadet History contributor of the month and Cadet-World User of the month.
Theo graduated from Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver in June 2009 and went on to Langara College in Vancouver where he is currently enrolled in the University-Transfer Program. He hopes to transfer to the University of British Columbia in a few semesters. After graduating from UBC, he intends to join the Canadian Forces as either a Non-Commissioned Member, or a Cadet Instructor Cadre officer. Theo is also employed at a Best Buy store in Vancouver as a Loss Prevention Specialist.
Theo joined Cadet World in November of 2007 and was invited to be a moderator in the Music Company and Parade Square in November 2009.
