Cadet Program Affiliation: Officer Cadet, Royal Canadian Air
Cadets
Robin joined the Royal Canadian Air Cadets in 1997 with 517 F/Lt
Graham Squadron, Greenwood, NS. During her career she completed
a wide variety of summer courses, including the Survival
Instructor's course, Rifle Coach Course and Senior Leader's
Course, and received both the Lord Strathcona Medal and the Air
Force Association Medal. She retired as a WO2 after her second
year of Introduction to Survival Training Staff in 2004 and
promptly began volunteering with 832 Ottawa Twillick Squadron
when she arrived in Ontario for university. During the summer of
2006 she ventured into the world of Army Cadets, working as the
Assistant Movements Officer at the Connaught NACSTC, then
completed the tri-service circuit in the summer of 2007 as the
Medical Driver/Escort Officer. Robin currently
holds the positions of Administration Officer and Band Officer
at 832, and as of April 2007 was finally doing so in uniform.
Robin is currently attending her fourth year at Carleton
University in Ottawa, and is working towards her Bachelor of
Arts Honours in Political
Science. While in Ottawa, she met with Juice, and in
December 2006 he proposed to her, the lucky girl.
Robin joined Cadet World in early 2002, and in 2006, she was chosen
to be thrown into the Stand Easy dungeo... er, Forum as the
moderator. Recently, however, the upper management noticed
she had some free time down there, so she was thrown a box of
crayons and a computer in order to increase her productivity. |
