Paul

Cadet Program Affiliation: Sergeant, Royal Canadian Air Cadets

Paul Wyckhuyse jumped into 386 Komox Royal Canadian Air Cadets at a late age, and due to his high proficiency in dress and deportment received at a previous law enforcement camp, combined with his interest in learning new things (and a tad of perfectionism), he accelerated rapidly through the ranks and levels.

He took on many squadron optional activities, including range, biathlon, effective speaking, and first aid. During his first summer as a cadet, in 2008, Paul attended the Introduction to Survival Training Course at Albert Head, British Columbia. After completing the course, he went on to get his Transport Canada Glider License outside of Cadets, in an attempt to catch up in a program that he knew he would never be able to fully explore. He received his Glider wings in the spring of 2008 through the Soaring Pilot to ACGP Conversion Course, one and a half years after entering the Air Cadet program. In the summer of 2009, Paul attended the Survival Instructors Course in Greenwood, Nova Scotia. He is currently a Sergeant and is a member of the Flag Party.

Paul is currently taking Criminology courses at North Island College, and eventually hopes to go into Law Enforcement. He joined Cadet World in October 2008, and having answered the call for Cadet Moderators in October 2009 was selected to co-mod Cadet Chat.
