Cadet Program Affiliation: Chief Petty Officer 1st Class, Royal Canadian Sea Cadets
CPO1 Michael Jarosz has been a member of RCSCC Rainbow since September 2003. He is currently serving in the position of Cox’n. CPO1 Jarosz, a sailor by trade, has competed in numerous cadet and civilian regattas including Nationals three times and BC Summer Games. He also volunteers a lot of his time as a Sail Instructor at the South Vancouver Island Sail Center in Esquimalt, BC. CPO1 Jarosz enjoys biathlon and last year surprisingly qualified to provincials. Some of CPO1 Jarosz’s notable achievements include top Silver Sail cadet, top mark on the BC PO1 Exam and pulling up a 100ft buoy in 19.04s, setting a new sail staff record at HMCS Quadra.
CPO1 Jarosz joined Cadet World in April 2006, and was invited to the head of the round table (figure that one out) in December of 2008.
