Cadets
Julie works at RCSU (Pac) as the Quadra Staffing
Officer. She is responsible for the staffing and logistics of
Annual Seamanship Concentration and the hiring of Officers,
Civilian Instructors and Staff Cadets at HMCS Quadra. She also
does a bunch of other assorted projects (you know, the ones that
fall under “Other duties as assigned”)
Julie has been involved with RCSCC Rainbow for over 20 years and
was enrolled as an Officer in 1991. She served as the Commanding
Officer from 1998-2001, took a couple of years off, and has been
volunteering with Rainbow for the last 5 years.
Julie has been a member of CW since 2001 and has been keeping the
peace in Summer Training Central since 2006.
Julie has 2 sons and 5 grandsons (2 former and 5 future Sea
Cadets), a very tolerant husband and a cat named Captain Nemo
and a Scottish Terrier named Conan. She
is the original Mickey Mouse fan and will do almost anything for
white chocolate.
