Lt(N) Jean Cyr

Royal Canadian Sea Cadets
Jean Cyr is employed as the Staff Officer 3 (Sea), RCSU (Pacific), Victoria, BC. She is responsible, amongst other things, for overseeing sea cadet training, administration, summer camp and international exchange selections and generally looking out for the best interests of sea cadets in Pacific Region. She can often be seen floating about the Pacific Ocean in a mark boat at various regattas in support of her Region’s sailing programs.
Jean is the mother of two absolutely beautiful daughters, the elder a former graduate of the sea cadet programme at Beacon Hill, and who eventually became the CPO1 of Sea Ops at HMCS QUADRA, the younger who is in Phase 2 and has just completed TWGT at HMCS QUADRA. She also has two cats (Wendy and Freckles), a puppy Zoe and the largest collection of Tigger memorabilia on the west coast, to our knowledge, because 'cyriously', Tigger rocks.
Jean has been a CW member since 1999, served as a moderator and senior moderator, and has been in her current role since June 2003. She is a firm believer in karma, faeries and the art of the possible (not necessarily in that order.) She's the nice one. She says please. And she makes jam. IMAGINE. |
