It started off innocently enough. One of our members, Podick, was bored, late at night, and started a thread in Stand Easy with this post: "Come one come all aficionados of late nights staring at a screen in the dark, while mindlessy plugging away at instant messaging and forum posting with no particular thought in mind at all except White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies. Memebership is non-exclusive and free, so post and join!" With that, the Late Night Losers Club was born. From its' humble beginnings, the LNLC grew into something special for CW members who frequent the Stand Easy forum. And as it caught on, it continued to grow...and grow....and grow. It grew into a home for inane and meandering banter, for humour, for randomness, and for things that make you go "Huh?" Along the way,sometimes it grew a little of out control, and had to be reigned in. At one point, after thousands of posts, it grew a little too out of control, and was shut down and moved out of Stand Easy and tucked away for safe keeping. After a short while, a LNLC Version 2 was allowed to start up, and the LNLC lived on. And grew on, racking up a couple thousand more posts. And started killing our server space... So, the the LNLC version 2 had to be closed as well. Because they were taking up too much room in our server database, the LNLC threads were deleted. But before they were deleted, they were saved to a text version for archive purposes. Those text versions are now available for download by members. Archived versions are saved as ".rtf" files, which will be opened by MS Word or Wordpad. Future versions will go through the same process, as they get too large for the forum database, they will be converted to a text archive, deleted from the forum, and available here for download as text, for the enjoyment of...well...the Late Night Losers ;)
