| Where: Aboard HMCS
REGINA When: December 2009 What: Fourteen lucky Sea Cadets participated in an amazing five day deployment on HMCS REGINA from December 6th to 11th, 2009. Out of those fourteen, ten were Cadet World members! Each of the cadets had a chance to take part in the many different trades on board ship and view the spectacular scenery along the Sunshine Coast. Some had a chance to work on the bridge, some worked in the engine room, and others worked with the boatswain department on board REGINA. The highlight of the trip was the Naval Boarding Party display where the cadets were able to dress up in combat dress, handle weapons, beat each other with batons, and most importantly, handle weapons. All in all it was a great experience, highly reccomended to anyone who might have the opportunity to participate in the future! Click on the thumbnails below for larger images
