An exciting part of the Sea Cadet program is the Sailing Program. All Sea Cadets have an opportunity to take part in this sport by either attending Sail Weekends during local unit training or being selected for Summer Training at a Sea Cadet Summer Training Center. Cadets participating in this course have the opportunity to achieve Sail Levels become Sail Instructors and recieve powerboat training. The Sail Trade is offered at all SCSTCs with exception to HMCS Avalon which only offers the Sail Trade Goup I course.
