CPO1 Gagnon from RCSCC RESOLUTE was originally appointed as Coxswain of HMCS ONTARIO. Did she step down?

Regardless, congratulations Chief McLuckie, all the luck and success for you and I hope you have a wonderful summer.

Some pesky extra chevron made a home on my sleeve....

Congratulations to 713's new Leading Air Cadets, Corporals and Sergeants. We also have a new Flight Sergeant who is taking on a huge responsibility at an upcoming event.

Also, our General Training cadets and other TCTC summer course cadets have recieved their graduation certificates and our new pilots recieved their wings. We also made an outstanding profit during our tagging weekend that just passed, and one of our junior cadets recieved a letter of commendation for her participation in the Warriors Day celebration in Toronto. Also, one of our Captains recieved her first bar to her Canadian Forces Decoration for 24 years of good service.

    Great job!

Yeah, don't you just hate when that happens. Better get that looked after, because, like a year later, mine did this weird thing where it sprouted a crown. Then six months later, the crown got really fat and evolved, or mutated, or ate my stripes, or something and changed into this weird crown inside a wreath thing that chilled on my forearm. Then it did this really weird thing last fall where it changed species and became this star hanging out on a bar that sits on my chest, and I woke up all green.

Better do something soon. Congrats, Sergeant...

Congratulations to our four new Flight Sergeants and our new Warrant Officer First Class

There was two Air Cader Service Medals presented, and one bar for additional service presented to our SWO.

Also the vast majority of our adult staff were sworn in as members of the Royal Canadian Legion. I got to take pictures heh.

My sqn is too big to update regularly anymore lol

Since September, we've had tons of recruit swear ins, and promotions (LAC-FCpl).

Most notably, one of our fresh FCpls was appointed Drum Major, we had a Sgt promotion, and the two remaining cadets from the 2012-13 recruit year recieved their promotion to FSgt and 4 year service medals (which includes me).

also I heard that one of our FCpls was runner up for top cadet on his course at Blackdown (although I can't seem to find any proof of that)

I can't remember most of the promotions from Tuesday but on the note of long overdue promotions, congrats to FCpl H., who finally got the rank she deserves after waiting forever.

Not a promotion but I just finished my final day and ACR in uniform. There is one more training night, a special event and then the year end BBQ, but I consider myself (almost) retired.

Chapter (almost) closed, I'll definitely miss it.

So many new Sergeants and Flight Corporals, too many to count. Cheers to the new Flight Sergeants as well. You know, Flight Sergeant Pepper just doesn't have the same ring to it, but all things must pass, so here's to Flight Sergeant Waldie instead.
