On a different note, I believe that we staffed National Biathlon together back 2 years ago in Quebec City! I was a Sergeant at the time from Ontario, so you probably don't remember me :P

I placed 3rd for Drill Team Commander!
Sounds like you had one great day! Congratulations sir, and good luck as the new RSM.

Not a promotion exactly however I would like to congratulate 510 Lions Squadron on a fantastic performance at the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Drill Competition today. All cadets had a great turnout and the effort given by all is something to be applauded.

As a side note, your's truly was awarded the Top Drill Team Commander for the province for 2011-2012!

In a random turn of events, I was promoted to c/ Senior Master Sergeant. Just in time for awards night this Saturday. That was freakishly quick. Even for jrotc.

Retreat? Hell, we just got here!

    My Great Shock

Tonight I was promoted to Corporal (very exciting) but here comes the real shock, Me,a 180 pound kid who has been out of shape my whole life was awarded golden fitness. What I am trying to say is even if you think you cannot do what you are trying for, push yourself untill you cannot push yourself anymore.
