    Cadet Fitness Assessment

    Hello Cadet-World

I will be conducting the Cadet Fitness Assessment at my Corps and a question has come across that i am not 100% able to answer but 95% sure. A Cadet has asked me that for the Push Up segment of the test , does it have to be the "Tricep" or the "Far grip chest push up". If anyone can psot a CATO, or anything in documentation or has 'rank' that can confirm which is the standard.

    Thanks

    Comeau

CATO 14-18 contains everything that you will need to know to run the CFAIP. (Username and password is "cadets")

You'll need to make sure you have the Leger Fitness Test CD. If you don't have it then PM me an email address and I will email it to you.

Well that's new. The other times that it was posted on these forums, it was usually removed.

To be more specific, Central Region posted it.

We did, until Central Region posted it. If they are publishing it, we felt it was okay to leave it here. If we are asked to remove it at some point in the future, we will comply with that request.

I've been trying to view this CATO, but the site has changed since I was a cadet. When I try the above posted link, it brings me to an error page.

What he means to say is that his unit (OJIBWA) will be participating in a weekend exercise with the other 3 sea cadet corps in Toronto: ONTARIO, VANGUARD (my current unit which is hosting), and SCARBOROUGH. The fitness assessment will be conducted this weekend as part of the training.
