Accepted to ASC this year!!! I have a question if someone could answer it, because i havent gone on ASC before. Does anyone know if we are required to wear uniforms there and back? I asked my CO, he wasnt really sure. I asked a girl in my corps who went last year, and she said she didnt have to because of limited space and security for a cadet uniform. It might be different for me because Im in Newfoundland, and I have to travel really far. Anyone know? :P

Are you going on ORCA or Maple Leaf? I know for sure that for Maple Leaf you wear appropriate civilian clothing and your cadet all season jacket with no ranks. I'm actually looking for the regulations about ORCA for one of my cadets as well though.

Well, the 3rd serial of Seamanship Deployments (PCTs) ended today. The 2nd of 3 serials on the Maple leaf is underway. Thus far I haven't heard any major complaints from anyone

One more serial of Maple Leaf and then that's all folks.

(just as well, the late night and early morning trips to the airport are killin' me )

Hello to all cadets heading on serial 1 . Would someone be generous and let us know which ORCA's the cadets are on. Our corps likes to track their progress and possibly see them on a webcam. We didn't get any billets this time but fingers crossed for another serial.
