Yeah, that got costly. My second year of staff I just put up with it. However St. Jean Garrison (CFLRS) has very very bad food, but when your Sgt gives you 5 minutes to eat you don't taste, just digest. CFB Esquimalt's Nelles' galley and Pacific Fleet club have great eats.

People just say things like that because they are haters...

Absolutely! Some of the best CF food I've had was at Nelles - tied with the Albert Head galley, and CFB Comox a close second.

Okay - the mess during the winter. Never been there during the summer... I'm told there's all sorts of blue jobs hanging around.

I agree. The mess during CADFAM was pretty good, but come staff, the quality declined.

Haha, I agree with you there. I think we (Service Band) went there twice maybe 3 times. Forgot but once is enough to know they have good food.

What really ground my gears was at Quadra galley... we would have to line up and wait for our food, while officers and staff cadets would leisurely walk in cheating the line... and this after we were told you have only 15 Min's to get in and out... we were lucky if we got 3 Min's to eat. While the officers and staff cadets had 1ST course and dessert. Wouldnt know if Quadra food was good, never got enough of it to find out...

All we do is pushups, drill and yell.
    We march like bears.
We "bang" when we do drill like we're stepping on bugs.

Get your friends to try and do drill. Seriously, they'll do it.

    I got asked:
-How many hundreds of pushups can you do?
-How do you unjam a M16/any other random gun like MP5 or P90? (I think it's S.P.O.R.T.S. for the M16/C7)
    -Do you guys fly F-16's??

    Cadet element nicknames:

    -Air = Pigeons
    -Army = Groundhogs
-Sea = Frogs <--note, there were many other names for sea...

Same with Blackdown, Angus Pizza they will deliver to a grid reference (not kidding).

Only problem is that they closed the McDonalds on base, that was my mess hall at Blackdown.

My friend's mom refused to let him join Air, he joined Sea instead

    Why?
