    The New Username Thread

I haven't been able to find anywhere to announce a new nickname, so I figured I'd start a thread on it. Perhaps in the future, anyone who changes their moniker can post it here. To the moderators: if there's already one, please combine them.

I registered here almost a year ago as TACTC2005CI because 1) that's where I was going that summer and 2) my CO up in North Bay wasn't sold on enrolling me into the CIC, which meant I was probably going to be a CI for a while.

Moving to Eastern Region over the summer, I may end up in Bagotville, which would void the TACTC part of my nickname. Also, with this being 2006, the 2005 part of my nickname was also void. A couple weeks back, the ball got rolling on my enrollment. That voided the CI part of my nickname. I needed to change my nickname to something more permanent and applicable to my life.

Enter "Happy?". It's perfect because it's not time-sensitive, rank-sensitive, or location-sensitive. Plus, it has a healthy amount of attitude. Sheesh...I'm really reading into this.

Anyways, from this point on it's "Happy?" not "TACTC2005CI". Thank you.

    Umm...ok!

I was sail4lyfe before, basically it was a quote from a poem someone read me once. And I somehow turned it into slang....well the point is, I didn't like it anymore. So I changed it to my name. Simple, easy to remember and spell.

My change was simple. I used to be C_Tucker_508 and now im Cheryl Tucker.

This is because I am no longer a part of 508 and well underscores are stupid when they are not needed.

I used to be called: corporal ditz.

    Now I am: 330attitude because
    a) I now try hard not to appear overly stupid,
b)I'm from 330 Danforth Tech RCACS,
    c) I'm often in charge of attitude checks and
    d) our sqn newsletter is called the "330 Attitude" and I usually submit something to it

I changed my username a loooooong time ago from Chief Me to AMerrall...

...I hadn't actually been a Chief in several months, so figured it was time I let that go.

Changed from chappy_nz to Chappy, seeing as the underscore was uneeded and the NZ Flag for my avatar sums up where I'm from

When I first joined, my username was Juice061285. I decided to drop the numbers a long time ago (got to be closing in on two years by now).

    Whoa, snazzy new post box!

My username used to be Sgt-Haley-507 or something like that, but seeing as I'm not a sergeant anymore and never will be again, I asked to have it changed to Haley-507. And shortly after that, I dropped the '-507' and I'm just Haley.. I figure I don't need any more identification than that

Neutron Zipper is a device used in fission weapons to increase yield. It fires a stream of neutrons at the "physics package" at the instant of compression to critical mass. Hence my user name, grin.
