BC Lions and Cadets Oct 22

Does any-one have cadet specific information about the Veteran's event at BC Place this year for the BC Lions? All I've seen thus far is band information, I asked my CO as well but he hasn't seen anything yet.

    Thanks

I hope that it won't be a band only thing........that game happens just in time before I age out.

I contaced Capt. Cross (OPI Flag Party for the BC Lions Game) and he said they're a bit slow with the information to be send out this year and there are no Ops Order publish for the Flag Party at this time (but things might change since we last spoke). Ind. Unit OPI should contact him directly and provide him with a list of cadets that will be attending. If a cadet from your unit is going, an officer must be present as well. Dinner will be provided to all participants.

Band cadets - arrive @ 1300 hrs. (East Air Lock entrance) w/ instrument and full dress uniform, music will be given out by the RCMA rep., DM bring your sash and mace

Flag Party cadets - arrive @ 1745 hrs. (East Air Lock enterance) in full dress uniform

I was one of amny Army Cadets there not in uniform b/c of poor communications to LHQs RE: Non-Band cadets... and there was at least one cdt from FRASER there, but I think they were a bandie.

The cadets performed very well, almost as good as the Lion's 41-1 victory One of the better cadet bands I have heard in some time.

They must have been informed during a band practice or something.....oh well, not dwelling on it.
