Well, here it is...down to the last two weeks of summer vacation. Usually by this time, I'm ready to end summer and get back to school. This year however; has been different. This summer, I didn't do anything with cadets because I turned 19 at the end of July, and I also had a summer semester in school, and of course education is more important! It felt strange being home all summer; but at the same time I've been preparing more for my future.

What have I been up too? Well, I completed ...

For those of you who don't know, I'm taking DCI (Drill and Cerimonial Instructor) at HMCS Ontario. It's been a long, hard road, for all of us in Collingwood (the division). We've all gone through a lot, dealt with plenty, and bonded together

  5. Summer's Just Starting

Well, the Summer's nearly over, but it's really just starting for me. I finally have stuff to do! I just got back from Band Camp. I got there at 0830, left at 1400, and got back home at 1430. Last year, Band Camp went from 0900 to 1500, so I guess we're getting a break. Anyways, after a day full of marching, playing my Sousaphone, and walking around town during my lunch break, I'm exhausted. It doesn't help that, in about two weeks, I'll be directing traffic at the County Fair and Marching Band, ...
