  1. Staffing, Summer 2013

    This summer, I am interested in being a staff cadet coach at Connaught CSTC, but I have already applied to RMC/ROTP. If I get accepted to ROTP, I understand that the recruit camp, held in St. Jean, will start in early to mid August. I know of a handful of cadets that have been hired as staff cadets for a little more then half the summer, then went on to ROTP training for the other bit. I was just curious if anyone on here knows how often this might actually occur and what the circumstances might ...

  2. Retirement

    I like being retired! As much as I loved the cadet program, I do feel it is time to move on, and I am happy to have retired at a point where I never expected to be at! Good luck to all of you for the rest of your cadet career's.

  3. Being a cadet officer

    To be honest, I'm still not used to the idea of being a cadet officer. I've been in the c/enlisted ranks for so long. I'm not used to being saluted to by other cadets or being called "sir". I was used to being called "sergeant" and "chief". Now it's just "sir". I'm still not used to being the door opened for me, or wearing these patent leather shoes.   4. Aging out!

    Eeep. It's january. My last parade night will be Tuesday, January 29th, 2013; I turn 19 on Sunday, February 3.

    It's kinda scary, but I'm looking forward to more awesome things in life that will be all the more awesome because of my cadet experience And, I have applied to be adult staff this summer

  5. Making a better Year

    Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a nice break from cadets! Although everything is going to start again very soon it was a nice break. Although I am excited to go back I have to teach which can be really challenging with some cadets. I usually teach level two's leadership classes but there are a few of the cadets that are very hard to control. It doesn't only annoy and frustrate me as the instructor but it starts to annoy the other cadets because we dot get anything done. Does anyone have ...
