    On Saturday the 15th of June, 2013, during an ACR preparation on-board weekend at RCSCC 105 LONSDALE, a woman wandered onto our property from the rear and told one of our first-year cadets that there was an emergency and that there was a woman hanging off the side of the ravine behind our building.

  2. Late night ramblings

    So... Just under a week ago, I had a nervous breakdown. At cadets. Why am I putting this out there? You tell me. Maybe because it's past midnight and I still can't sleep, because all I think about is that one evening. What triggered it? I'm honestly not quite sure. I had had a rough couple of weeks (plus i had just found out a close friends little, four year old brother had brain cancer), and I mucked up a call (I some how managed to get chief bosuns mate) early in the night, and that threw me off. ...

    I joined cadets to make friends and for the fun. As I sit here, it came across my mind how fast the 4 years of cadets has passed. Heck my 1st day, I can still recall it like it was yesterday. When trying to figure out the training for the night I had a PO tell me where to do I ended up saluting her. In civilian clothing. That year I went to GT. over those 2 weeks I meat who is now my best friend. All though we didn't talk much after GT. We ended up in the same division for Basic Sail and our friendship ...

    Ok, guys! Tagging season is upon us once again. For all you, new and old, here are some tips to maximize your efforts.
    1. Look your absolute best. Just as good as you would for annual. This is important.
    2. Brush up on your corp/squadron finances. People want to know where this money is going. Point out a few specific, giving-back-to-community projects. This looks really good.
    3. Don't be a lump on the log. Interact, say "hello", "good morning ma'am, sir". ...
