  1. Quick Update

Well, I haven't made a blog post in awhile, so I thought this would be a good time to get back at it.

I have been promoted to WO2, and now hold the position of C/Sqn DComd. Things have been going pretty smoothly lately, and I have been trying to be as active on here as possible. I had the chance a couple of weeks ago to make a presentation to our Detachment Commander, and that was pretty cool. I'd really like to take the position of Senior Environmental Cadet next year, a position ...
  2. 2010 Olympics!

Well, at about 1115 Newfoundland time I woke up to the sound of the phone ringing, I was supposed to meet my mother at her house for 1100. Running into the shower and grabbing the last few articles of clothing I needed I headed out the door and went to her house.

  4. Number Four!

It has been awhile since I have posted on my blog, and I decided that it was time I keep people posted on whats going on here in Newfoundland with 510 Lions!

Lately has been moderately hectic with preperation for our ACR coming up on May. 9, 09. This is going to be a very special year for our squadron because it is to mark our 60th anniversary as 510! Very historic moments indeed.

This year after some convincing the cadets managed to convince the officers to give them ...
  5. Number Three!

Hello folks, me again, only this time, things have changed. My new first name is Sergeant instead of Flight Corporal! Gotta love it! This change took place Thursday past, so the new badge's will be going onto the old tunic anytime soon now! To top it all off! My squadron hasn't done rifle drill in a good few years now and your's truly has indeed gotten it off the ground again! We had our first practice today and me and an officer were exchanging arms by the end of it! Pretty awesome if I do say ...
