I have a friend that was visiting with his family, and I remember him mentioning that their corps didn't really have a lot of cadets. So, I was just wondering if there is anyone from Whitehaven on this site.

Never heard of it :D i think there are only about 15 British guys here, so i wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a particular unit being represented on CW.

Their unit is on the border of Scotland in a town called Cumbria... Or is that the county? I know a couple of cadets that go to this unit, so I'll ask them if they've heard of this site..

Cumbria is a county in England near Scotland.

I do believe that not many British cadets know about this site, we also have our own forums set out a bit like this one.

I will mention this forum to them then maybe your friend will get to hear about it and be able to contact you?

I know quite a few Cadets from Whitehaven Unit as it is in my area of the UKSCC
