All the committees at school seem to be up and running and are off recruiting new members. I was just wondering what sort of committees/teams/ clubs that you are plannning on joining or already are on?

The U of A Science Undergraduate Society and Immunology and Infection Students' Association, but only by virtue of being registered in that faculty and program. I also play intramural hockey.
It's hard not to be involved in at least one group...there are so many! :)

This year, I signed up to participate in Hillel, the Jewish Students group, I recieve e-mail updates from the Swing club, and (despite the fact that I've never been a member, and I don't really play games that much) I am an executive member of UMGA, the University of Manitoba Gamer's Association. I'm the member co-ordinator, and I weaseled my way in there by being good friends with the entire UMGA executive. :p

Haha! Tannis is a gamer groupie! :p
I'm on the executive of the music department society here at MtA. Basically its just an elitist group that only lets in music students and we just get together to party. But it's a society ... really.

I believe it's all of the above! There's a Lindyhop workshop some time this weekend that I think I might go to. The only reasons I'm not a member of UMSwing are a) It's a lot of money; and b) I can't dance. :p

I'm the secretary of my class executive, plus I'm still involved with cadets. I figured I'd wait my first semester in here and then decide what else I wanted to do. Next semester, hopefully anyway, I plan on volunteering...somewhere..haha
