What are you going to do after exams and school ends in April?
I am planning on working security... with the main objective on getting my 150 hrs of experience/volunteer for my program... probably I'll get those by fulltime volunteering for my riding's CPC candidate...
(Note: Please don't post in this thread if you are still a cadet, since this is our old folks forum, and you already got your own thread for this summer)

Hopefully, as soon as i get my resumes typed up and ready to go. I'll be working at an engineering or survey company all summer to gain experience. Otherwise it's superstore, CT or staples for me.

Well it all depends on my college status, I just got back into the country and am trying to put in a late aplication as a mature student for september. If I get in than I'm stuck with living here at home or maybe with my grandpa out in Prince Edward County and getting a job and savin up cash for school, hopefully work on a farm or outdoors, there's a tree nursury just outsida town here I'd like to work at, who knows. If college is a no go for september then come June or so I think I'll go work and travel abroad, basically hit the road and be spontanious.

Well, since I'm no longer in school, and don't have exams, and work for a living....
This summer I plan to continue to work, continue to work around my house, continue to enjoy my pets, continue to enjoy my life! As far as I'm concerned, it'll be business as usual, but with the added perk of being WARMER!

I'm job searching right now
So far I have a job offer to work for DND at Shearwater... Sounds cool huh? Except it is as a grounds keeper, lol... But it would be neat especially if they're still having power there. I'm waiting to see how much they will pay / hr. If its decent (like $10/hr or so) I might take it.
And I also got an offer from my job working full time at DQ lol.
And I'm still applying for tons of jobs on the waterfront, hopefully working on computer servers or the docks.
Well at least I wont be unemployed :D

Man if we go back this year I'll be back in a heartbeat. I had so much fun last year. The people were so good to us. Hot Weather, Hot Girls, honestly whats not to love.
Note: I had fun because I was so far away from the front lines and so far away from doing any real "grunt" work. Yay for MP's.

Hot indeed (40C).... rather stinky and hard to breathe though... I couldn't see across the street.
Most of the hot girls went inside because of the smoke... you missed out.

I have been volunteered by my father to help the hunt for the summer - lots of riding and lots of hard work. He has graciously allowed me three weeks off - one week fishing in Scotland, One week at Royal Ascot and one week in Gibraltar. Apart from that it is going to be 6am-6pm days - fixing things, maintenance and Public Relations efforts...

It wasn't exactly easy getting there, but after some four hours of interviewing plus a case study, I will soon be a systems analyst. Rob, check your PMs for a little more details...
It has been a crazy time for me lately, having just come back from Whitecourt in December and now heading to Calgary very shortly. But now I must study again...

If your degree/diploma has the word "computer" on it, then yeah it's a problem. But I've been a little more fortunate finding work in this field.

I fly out of here (Ottawa) to France, where I get to go to Lyon for 4 days and stay with a friend.
Then it's to Johannesburg South Africa, for a month and a half. I have a friend there, and I plan to bum around a lot, he's promised to teach me how to surf (even though the water'll be really cold), climb Table MOuntain, see Robben Island, etc. Play tourist a bit.
Then it's off to Zimbabwe for a month to work at Tongogara Refugee Camp... I really don't know what to expect.
Then it's back to South Africa for a month and half.. Part of that is going to spent going to Kruger Naitonal Park on safari...
...And then it's back home. And back to school. And maybe a job with the OTHER CIC... Canadian Immigration and Citizenship.
