So what has not changed since you left Cadets?

I still make hospital corners in my bed
I stand at attention when O Canada or Gold Save the Queen Plays
I stand at attention as a civilian when talking to high ranking individuals
I say Sir and Mame

Well, most habits I had back in yonder day have stuck around because of work...but I do still say 'sir' or 'ma'am' when I'm out and about..

A couple of the little things like standing at attention for higher ranks have gone out the window unless I'm on parade or being jacked up, just because of the job I have at work.

I get irked when my co-workers are spelling words out over the phone using the incorrect phonetic alphabet...

"'S' like 'silver', 'd' like 'Diana', 'b' as in 'boy...'"

Gahh!!! It's alpha, bravo, charlie, delta...!

I guess aside from that, I can still iron a mean crease into a pair of dress pants.

I don't mind it so much, what really pisses me off is when they use five different words for the same letter in the same sentence.

At my work, we have a radio over which I hear CF members speaking on a regular basis, and even they don't always get it right... It always throws me off to hear "...Alpha, Hotel, Zebra..." or "Yankee, Echo, Sahara..." and the like.

I have to say that every time see this thread I get the song "Carry On Wayward Son" stuck in my head.
I think most cadets do this, but I usually walk in step with people.
