For those of you who may not have seen it in Stand Easy, an idea started in this thread (http://www.cadet-world.com/cwforums/showthread.php?t=18598) to try to break the record of most users online at one time here at CW. In case you had not noticed, this information is listed on the main forum page down in the "Who's Online" section. Currently the record is:
"Most users ever online was 298, 4th January 2006 at 00:41."
CW Member anniegillis875 (http://www.cadet-world.com/cwforums/member.php?u=6453) decided to challenge the membership to try to beat that record. In order to break the record, we need to have 299 or more members log in within a 15 minute period. Here is what we have planned

London, U.K. 30 Dec 2006 2200 hrs (10:00 PM )
Halifax , Canada 30 Dec 2006 188 hrs (6:00 PM )
Toronto / Montreal, Canada / New York, USA 30 Dec 2006 1700 hrs (5:00 PM )
Winnipeg / Regina, Canada 30 Dec 2006 1600 hrs (4:00 PM )
Calgary, Canada 30 Dec 2006 1500 hrs (3:00 PM )
Vancouver, Canada 30 Dec 2006 1400 hrs (2:00 PM)
Sydney, Australia *31 Dec 2006!!* 0900 hrs (9:00 AM )
Auckland, New Zealand *31 Dec 2006!!* 1100 hrs (11:00 AM)
Perth, Australia *31 Dec 2006!!* 0700 hrs (7:00 AM)
The Corresponding UTC (GMT) is Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 22:00:00 GMT, so people can work that out to their own local time zone if not listed above, use http://www.timeanddate.com/
That time slot will be evening for our UK members, afternoon / evening for our North American members (where the bulk of the membership is) and morning for our New Zealand and Australian members.
You must be online within 15 minutes after that time slot (2200 to 2215 UTC / GMT) to help break the record!

Yes, I did. A locked thread has been started in Stand Easy (http://www.cadet-world.com/cwforums/showthread.php?t=18927) which will be opened by the staff during the challenge time slot. When it is opened, you must post in that thread during the arranged time slot (2200 to 2215 UTC / GMT) in order to enter the draw for cool CW prizes.
4 prizes will be given out if we break the record:
- a CW TShirt
- a CW bumper sticker
- a CW mouse Pad
- a CW Sticker pack
Names will be chosen randomly from members who post in that thread during the time slot. Please keep your post brief, just say "I'm here" or something to that effect. Only post one time, members who post more than once in the thread may be disqualified from winning a prize.
So spread the word to all CW Members you know, put it in your sig for the next couple of days, and set 15 minutes aside on Dec 30/31 to come and help try to break the CW Most Users Online record!
