This is to remember all those brave men who fought, and in many cases, were wounded or killed on D-Day. Those men, some no more than 17 or so years of age, stormed the beaches in Normandy and helped overthrow a terrible evil. Thank you for your sacrifice that allows us to live with the rights and freedoms we now enjoy.

I was watching the ceremony from france on CBC today. It was quite the sight there; so many people - so many IMPORTANT people: prime ministers, presidents, Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, our Governor General, and I'm sure there's more. I think it must of been an AMAZING thing to actually be there.
We will remember them...
