5 Day Sail Rideau?

Hey all you Rideau flotilla Cadets! I was wondering how many of you are going to go to 5 day sail this summer.. It is going to be a awesome week at 5 day.. as always, we are going to have alot of fun! whos in for it?

Well ya better hurry up...you need to get your one, and you HAVE to go next year, to get your WS 2, or else you can't get PO1...unless you try for your WS 2 this year, maybe they will make special considerations if you ask really nicely...

I hope they do the same for me... But the only problem is, is I can't go this year, I can go next year, but not this year... I'm going to have to beg... I "have" my WS1 but they haven't processed it through yet:(

HEy guys, I was one of the sail instructors there one year. Unfortunately, I will not be able to help out for the 5 -day sail (still at camp) but I might be coming down to cornwall for a sailing weekend in teh fall:D

Hope a lot of people are going to 5 Day. It was a great idea a couple years ago and all of the cadets that go always seem to have a wicked time. =) I had an amazing time teaching all the kids scuba diving for 2 years and I highly recommend people go and have fun =)

5 day always kills but not cuz of the sailing lol am I right colin haha thats cuz I cant sail I have to do scuba but wat ev it a crazy assed work out bring tanks and stuff across that field but this year hopefully scuba staff can put there pants by the water/compresser so we wont have to

out of the 2 or 3 years ive been there iv only done the 6am swim once lol all u ppl get up and go swimmign in the freezing cold water ur all crazy i sleep along wit most of my tent mates :p ;) lol but its still fun. yah we need atleast sum of lanark down

Yes, but that is life. Maybe in the future Lanark will join in once again, but for now, such is not the case. I hope it is fun, as always. As for the 6 AM swim, I've done that every year for the 4 years I've been there, as an AC, PO2, and PO1 (twice). If you don't go, the cadet's won't want to go as much...seeing their POs get frozen is quite a motivating factor!
