What do you think of this new proposed bill to make provincial elections in Ontario every 4 years on first Thursday of October?
There are two sides to it...
One it doesn't allow the government to delay the election if they are facing heat, and it doesn't allow the government to call it early to take advantage of momentum, thus preventing the cost of an early election
The other argument...
It is parliamentary tradition, Canada is not a republic, and it involves the Queen's representative. It as well is a mandate from the people. (With assistance from Cheif Neo)
