You should join the CIC, or volunteer with a unit as a CI. Thats the best way to stay involved after you "retire".

After being out of cadets for almost 4 years, I had to go back. I'm starting volunteering this month and I can't wait!! But I agree, there should be a club!!

I'm an ex-Navy Cadet, now St John Ambo and Air League Officer. My colours are VERY confused.
Anyway, yeah if someone will form an ex-Navy/Sea Cadet club, i'll be in it.

It is actually part of Cadet-World. It is a forum within the sea cadet central. You could also search for it using the search link at the top of the page. Sorry I am not so skilled with links and including them, but hopefully this helps you.
ok well im trying to find a real club for people to meet in person:air: :sea:

Oops, Sorry that I didn't help you with what you needed.. I guess I misunderstood you because you were on Cadet-world asking for clubs, I just figured that you were looking for something on here.. I guess that is what I get for making assumptions. So to make everything clear you are looking for actual clubs in Canada that are for retired sea cadets...?

It's a little late, but you don't need a High School diploma to become a CI, only to enrol as an officer in the CIC.
When I was a cadet, there was a CI who wanted to be an officer, but he was unable to, since he didn't have his HS Diploma. He's since gotten it, and joined the ranks, so it's something you should look into if you're interested.

Can you quote me a source for that?
Nothing excludes people from volunteering with a unit, except a shady criminal background.

I can not find that forum mentioned before. But i say a club for ex bandies that still wanna play ole naval tunes, and no i will not join the local bands, someone like me who misses playen good ole heart of oak
Come cheer up my lads,
will make us a club for bandies to play
and sailors to sail,
bosn's to do what they do best and gunners for all the rest.
Lets make us a club boys
make us a club!
lol not quite the song i was hoping for i guess 3 years made me rusty.
Besides being a horse farmer it is difficult to be a CI in a city that is now 35 minutes away three nights a week, my partner could not handle all the added work.
