I had this green doll that my aunt made for me, and I also had this little blue doll named Blue Baby. She smelled like baby powder. Plus I had some cabbage patch kids (which I still have, he he). Mostly my dolls...wow..what a girly girl. I also loved to play with lego too.

At the risk of sounding silly.......I had a hand towel with teddy bears on it.
It's around still.....somewhere.

Hmm...I'd have to say...GI Joes. :) And those little plastic army men, and plastic tanks and stuff. I used to have fun for hours with those...

Did any of you guys ever use K-nex? Those were pretty cool too...but not as good as lego. Except, you could like...make roller coasters, and robots that moved and stuff.

I had the roller coster. It took me and a friend a whole weekend to put together, one section at a time.

My strawberry shortcake cape blanket, the old school strawberry shortcake! It had a button to make it a cape and then it could be a blanket! SWEET!!

My stuffed panda called Big Panda.
The old-school Strawberry Shortcake was so cool. My cousin had ALL the dolls in the series, including all the kids' pets, and I was so envious.

You think that was girly ... I had a doll called "Suzy Homemaker." She wore a pretty dress with flowers on it and had an apron. Now if that isn't reinforcing female stereotypes I don't know what is.
My favourite was likely my little china tea party set. My grandfather always laughs and says that he has no idea how many gallons of tapwater "tea" he consumed while I was a child.

I loved legos and GI-Joe's cause I mixed them together
and wamp, the best war feild ever, and then I had this
Oscor the Grouch toy with an apple with it I took it with,
me everywhere, and when I was like 4 years old, I took
it out while playing soccoer and made him kick the ball!
That was my first toy next to my Mikey Mouse (teady bear thingy)

LEGO all the way!!! My goal is to build a giant army man in CADPAT (how come there isn't any military theme out there yet???). I found the new Lego theme a bit silly and rather ugly looking. Only if I have enough Lego then I will join the Vancouver Lego Club. The VLC Harry Potter creations are way better then the one Lego came up with. Once my sister stole my Lego and put it into the freezer for a "school" project. Thank goodness they didn't crack.

Rollerblading races every day during spring break.
2 on 1 football with boys twice my size. I was the one. And I ruled.
....not so good at the football anymore.....

Lego, definitely. I used to spend hours building houses and stables, complete with little lego horses. And at the risk of sounding like a geek, I was one of those kids that actually put one of the tiny lego pieces (the ones with just two little hole thingys) up my nose. Boy did I get in trouble.
I also had a little brown teddy bear I went everywhere with, and a green patchwork blanket my gramma made me, which I still have and use, and my barbie dolls. I had Ice Capades barbie, which I loved.

At the risk of being called a dinosaur, I really liked my easy bake oven (c'mon, a light bulb cooking a cake mix was kinda cool), my light brite (how many of you even know WHAT that is?) and my roadrunner stuffy :sea:

I got two favourites:
Mr. Smuggles my Christmas bear. No matter where I would go or what I would pack. I always found space for him to fit in my bag.
I also have a Mickey Mouse that I brought to almost every single cadet training weekend. He was this big, gigantic toddler toy (The one where he's in his Blue Toddler Jammi's).

my light brite (how many of you even know WHAT that is?)
Light Brite was the best thing EVER! I think I might still have one hanging around in the basement back home :)
As for my favourites, when I was younger, it was a bunny hand-puppet/cloth (aptly named bunny), then when I got older, it was most definitely lego! (Well, I also had a bit of a My Little Ponies phase, but we won't go there)

Easy Bake Ovens rock! I loved mine. My parents spent a fortune on extra mixes cause I refused to throw it out! And light brite was fun, except that the pegs were too easy to lose or swallow (don't ask).
I also had a million my little ponies, which I loved, and still have a couple of. :D

Did any of you guys ever use K-nex?
Heh. And I thought I was the only kid who used them. The crazy things I would build with k'nex. Quite possibly the best toy I ever used as a child.
And now I'm in Engineering. Who would've thought? :D
