Party politics aside, what do you think of the concept of the Canadian governments (federal and provincial) having set terms and set election dates?

[Lance]

I think its pretty good. I mean, eventually theres gonna be a deadline for everything, why not election dates and stuff like that. This gives them a set amount of time to do something in (ie get elected). And if they pull it off, it not only shows that they are the next potential leader, but also that they are pretty hard workers, they would have to be to hit that deadline.


I donno if Im hitting the nail right on the head, but I gave it my best shot.

hmm... they know when they're out... then the might actually keep up on the promises that they give to a certain bit.. I won't hold my breath..
