Ok,
So normally I go away every weekend gliding so this has never been a problem but now the season is coming to an end and as I sit here waiting to find out when we are leaving this today to go to Miramichi, I wonder what to do with my soon to be free weekends? What do all of you who live in res do on your weekends?

1. Sleep in until around noon.
2. Go to brunch with my friends.
3. Either a) go to the conservatory to practice OR b) go back to my room.
4. Intend to study/do work ... and not.
5. If it's Saturday, party someplace. If it's Sunday, wait until around 8 pm and try to cram a whole weekend's worth of work into a few hours.

Free weekends in university? What I wouldn't have given for some of those!

Ooooh!! I miss weekends in res! We'd usually end up playing video games, watching movies, partying, going outside for some sports, going shopping together, going on random adventures... :D

Funny thing about those points is that you can do that any place you live....gotta love it:D

My roommate tried to have a "sexy party" ala Family Guy last night.
It didn;t work very well.
I just spend my weekends working with the Corps and at Church.

You're short on things to do on weekends in residence? Maybe yours is a little calmer than tache was (my first year was absolutly nuts...).

"sexy party" a la Family Guy? Can you explain how that works?

a small baby in a sailor hat runs around chasing pretty girls in mini-skirts, to the soundtrack of some lounge song.

What I wouldn't give for a Sunday where I could watch football from 11 AM - 9 PM and not feel guilty that I wasn't getting any work done. Believe it or not, that's one of the things I look forward to doing once I'm finished all this school nonsense.

I have Sunday ticket...
anyway I can't believe I watched Tampa and Miami instead of watching the BC Montreal thriller... the Argos game was great, as when the Leafs beat the Habs on Saturday (nudge nudge Robin)

And of course at rmc we practice our drill movements, then a break, then perhaps we will all shine the hallway floor:P
Actually weekends that are free rock, they mean sleep

In Manitoba you don't even have to be in res to do that... it's just the answer to any sort of boredom...
