all i can say is YAY!
i went to the bank today with me pops and got meself a line of credit for 15Gs, pritty much covering the entire cost for the year at trent. it's hard to rationalize that i now have a peice of plastic with $15,000 on tap and even harder not to use it. lol
anywho, what's your financial situation?

line's of credit can be pretty rough for interest payments once you reach your 3rd year
Watch out:p

Scholarships and Bursarys are the way to go, Student Loans are all good until the moment hits you when you realize "Oh no, I have to pay this money Back"

Except that student loans have VERY low interest rates and the time they give you to pay it back is ridiculous...

yeup. it's a year after you graduate that they give you to find a job and settle in before your first payment. my father has an excelent credit rating, so it was only 3% above prime. i don't plan to use the loan for all of my education unless ROTP fails, just this first year because i didn't have the gr 11U math credit.

I'm VERY glad that I haven't had to take out a student loan yet, and so far I don't think I will have to. Yay for Ford!

PS: Congrats on getting your loan :)

Lucky you :p
I got more from OSAP thsi year than any other year. I am getting 7300 approx. That is almost as much as I have total in debt from my first two years. I'm not happy that I'm going to have around 16K in debt after this year, but at least I know that my school, and other expenditures will be paid for.
I owe a lot to my parents too. When OSAP wouldn't cough up the cash for school, they did. And so did camp, and RBC last year. Thankfully I wont have to add more to my credit line. It already sucks that they're taking 30 bucks from my account every month already. I know 30 doesn't sound like a lot, but there are times when it can make a big difference.

My current budget indicates that I will have enough money to graduate from university debt free this April. :D I owe this to working during the summers, and my patrents. They give me handouts to the tune of 500 bucks a month during the school year, which roughly covers my rent and my food. The whole idea was that my parents didn't want geographic location to affect my decision of where to go to school. If not for this, I would probably be mortgaging my future right now, in U of Calgary's science program! :p :p
And of course I have enough that I can also do fun stuff during the year without having to worry to much. I can actually afford to go flying now, which is awesome. :D

this upcoming year I am getting around 1,100
Oh yeah Yay for grandparents as well, they throwing 5,000 my way :D that goes a long way in combination with my 4,500 a year scholarship. I'm pulling my weight too, doing about 60+ hours of work a week

Contact your employer. They should send you one when you've finished working. I've always gotten them automatically.
Edit: My mom says you'll get it about 2 weeks after you've finished working. :)

For student loans you need your ROE ... not a pay stub. That won't work.
Wait around. I havn't gotten mine either.
