Ok this CW white superiority complex is really starting to **** me off, so I want to figure out why y'all think this way. Everybody who reads this forum prolly knows how much heat i've taken cuz I dont use dictionary english, so i'll clear that up first. I dont read the dictionary, the type of people who talk that way are the same type of people who wrote it, and i dont fit in that category at all. The way I see it, there is two types of people in the world, the strong and the grinders/geeks/whatever. CW is totally switched up though, cuz its mainly just grinders who check this stuff out, and then peeps like me get hated on which I think is retarded, and this is why.

Grinders only got one thing goin for em, they're book smart, which 'll put em in competition for technical and complicated jobs. People like me, i aint book smart at all, but my instincts are 10 times better. What good is knowing the square root of pie if you are oblivious to the real world and how it works. I see squares get played every day, and you know what, half the time they got no clue what just happened. Your lack of social skills dont make you too good at reading people. Generally grinders have no physical stature, so I doubt anybody who's dissed me on CW could go toe to toe with me, and even if they could they wouldn't have the confidence to back it up.

Listen, you're cuping pretty much everyone on CW into one catagory. What you have to understand is that the references to your grammar are not meant to insult. They are meant to help you and make it so that more people have an easier time reading your post. As to your remark that grinders don't have confidence, well, you're way off. The people like those you descibe are often the most confident of the bunch. And just how do you know that grinders don't have better instincts? I'm what you would call a grinder and I have great instincts, not that everyone does, but neither do all the peeps have great instincts. Finally as to your remark that grinders have no physical stature. Ya right! Some of the strongest people I've met have been the ones who where book smart. Or just plain smart.

Also, I noticed that you were white. When has anybody on CW ever uttered an insult against your color? (which is white, so my guess is never?)

As for how you talk, I've learned to deal with it...I don't like it, but I can deal with it. If I am going to complain about how you talk, I might as well jump on everyone who spells something wrong or puts a comma in the wrong place or whatever. It's totally not worth it. ;)

Its quite ironic isn't it, you criticise people for criticising the way you write and spell, yet your entire post critcises the care that I put into my posts, to ensure that they are readable.

I also resent implications that just because I happen to be as you put it 'book learned' and I spell fairly well as a result and try and use good grammar where possible that makes me any less of a man in social skills, instincts and physical prowess.

By all means write how you like and massacre the beauty that is the English langauge, but don't expect me to dumb down my standards.

If you don't want to take the heat, just refrain from using ebonics or netspeak. I'm sure you have an English class and I'm sure your teacher would not accept anything written improperly so I'm sure you're capable.

Again, have to disagree. Many 'grinders' I know are very well liked and aso involved in many different activities. The fact that they are smart has no effect on their personalities and it doesn't make them socially inept.

First of all grammar is a very important part of life as far as I'm concerned because it makes it easy for everyone to understand each other. I know that my grammar isn't perfect but that's why I have English class to teach me how to improve my grammar.

Secondly, how is being a grinder a bad thing?? I'm quite book smart but that doesn't mean that I have so social skills or bad instinct... in fact I have a lot of friends who I go out with quite a bit... so if I was going with what was said in this thread I would be no one beacuae I have social skills and I'm book smart... so if I'm not a grinder and I'm not the strong... then what am I?
